Peter Riopelle is an actor based in New York City, but he has lived and performed all across the country.
His career includes Broadway National Tours, Off-Broadway,Television, Film, Commercials, and leading roles at some of the nation's finest Regional Theaters.
Whether in dramatic or comic roles, musical, classical, or commercial, he has enjoyed a variety of genres, and experienced critical success in each.
Peter has worked with some of the most prominent directors in Theatre and Film including Tim Robbins, Anne Bogart, Casey Hushion, David Armstrong, Marvin Hamlisch and Casey Nicholaw; and has the distinction of being the first actor ever cast on-the-spot by Mr. Nicholaw, who remarked on the occasion,"That was one of the single best auditions I've ever seen..."
Peter has also been blessed to work alongside some of the leading actors of stage and screen today including Bob Martin, Michael Rupert, Nancy Opel, Georgia Engel, Rob Estes, John Tuturro, and Martin Sheen.
He received his BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University, and his MFA in Classical Acting and Directing from The Professional Theatre Training Program at Brandeis University in Boston.
